Don’t Wine About It is an experiential activation that brings excitement to new wine tasters
Problem Space
The wine industry is at a current decline due to loss of interest and less young people choosing to drink wine as a beverage of choice. This is due to the perceived pretentiousness around the wine industry, the connotation that only expensive wine taste good, and becaue of commitment (wine is sold in bottles and not smaller forms).
Design Solution
This project brings people’s relationship to wine closer by allowing them to explore their flavor profile by adding various components of wine such as acid, sweetness, tannins, glycerin, and alcohol into a base sauvignon blanc. By going through this activity, curious wine tasters will build on their preferences and explore what works and does not work for them.
