Gifting flowers is intimidating in any scenario, large corporate holidays, a friend’s birthday celebration, or a death in the family. How do you know what flowers to gift someone in these scenarios? Outside of these holidays and occasions, gifting flowers is uncommon. By modernizing a lost Victorian language and making an educational opportunity memorable and fun, the practice of giving flowers often and with intent will flourish.
Design Solution
Give ’Em Their Flowers is a card game where players use the power of floriography and gamification to create and debate the best bouquet for not-so-everyday scenarios. Players will learn what each flower conveys, how to apply them, and understand what they and their loved ones value in a bouquet as they continue to play. This knowledge translates into real world applications where users will gift purposeful and meaningful bouquets more often.
