INSOMNIAC is an educational campaign aimed at young adults, encouraging them to prioritize their sleep health
Problem Space
We sleep for about one third of our lives, yet, people don’t prioritize their sleep. Especially for young adults experiencing the real world for the first time, sleep is not what’s on their mind. The same goes for sleep education, it becomes a last priority. Everything we do throughout the day can and will affect our sleep at night, it doesn’t just start when you go to bed. Since it’s so important, shouldn’t there be easily accessible information for people to learn how to get better sleep?
Design Solution
INSOMNIAC seeks to fill that gap and educate young adults on the importance of sleep. This campaign is going to meet the young people where they are, on their phones, with a social media presence and poster series. The four main categories, Habits, Consumption, Environment, and Relaxation, will cover how all aspects of your life can affect your sleep. The ultimate goal of the campaign is for young adults to use this information to prioritize their sleep.
