Cincinnati is home to many great gyms, each shaped by its own unique community and culture. Some are filled with powerlifters, others with bodybuilders, but all are united by a love for training. Because many of these lifters stay rooted in their home gyms, they rarely move beyond familiar walls—in doing so, they miss the opportunity to experience other local gym communities and cultures. Creating an incentive for local lifters to explore other locations would strengthen the Cincinnati lifting community and spotlight local gyms.
