Fashion consumption today is heavily influenced by systems most people never see — algorithms, rapid trend cycles, and platforms designed to keep people buying. Because these systems operate mostly in the background, it can be difficult to recognize how our choices are being influenced or how individual habits connect to larger environmental, cultural, and behavioral consequences.
Design Solution
Programmed to Consume is a visual manifesto that translates these complex systems into clear, engaging narratives through illustration, data visualization, and storytelling. By making these hidden forces more visible and understandable, the project encourages viewers to pause, reflect on their own habits, and see where small, intentional choices can exist within a much larger system.
