Problem Space
Young adults active in Cincinnati’s cultural scene don’t consider live theater when planning social activities. A lack of awareness of the available local productions and misconceptions about affordability and relevance create barriers to entry. This perception makes it difficult for local theaters to attract younger audiences, reinforcing a generational divide in engagement with the arts.
Design Solution
Scene & Savor transforms a night out into a shared cultural experience by pairing Cincinnati theater events with dining recommendations. This seasonal publication uses expressive visuals and bold cutout imagery to frame local theater as vibrant and relevant while highlighting productions from Cincinnati’s 5 largest professional theaters alongside walkable restaurants. Curated pairings make it easy for young adults to plan connected (or even thematic) social outings that foster a stronger sense of community.
